Valuable People Recruitment

Platinum Consultants is hiring another Software Implementation Consultant!
You’re looking to work in a stable company where you are not micro-managed and have full control of your clients’ journey. You will be entrusted and expected to do your job without someone constantly looking over your shoulder.
You have experience in trade type businesses and are familiar with the roles such as quoting, invoicing, data entry and job management. You may have performed these roles at some point, however this is not a requirement.
You love working with computers and software and nerd out on Excel and similar tools.
You don’t mind working alone and can manage your work day and weekly schedule. You can manage a project from start to finish, without oversight or constant direction and you prefer it this way. You can get clients or colleagues to execute targets and do work.
You can hold and manage online meetings. You like talking to people and like to ensure they are doing well and happy with your service. At the same time, you can crack the whip and get people to get their targets done!
You are interested in business and like improving systems, streamlining workflows and helping people do more work with less effort.
You are interested in learning and actively learn all the time whether it be software or something else. You like teaching people how to do things and can be patient while getting people to use new software.
You take care in your work and pride yourself on a high quality of work—none of “near enough is good enough”. That also includes pride in getting things done quickly and efficiently.
You’re not shy and can present well to people and clients.
The role is a software implementation consultant with Platinum Consultants. You will be working with small and medium businesses of all types, all over Australia. Most are in the trades such as electricians, plumbing, air conditioning etc.
You will be using Simpro. Preferably you have experience in using Simpro as a Power User or administrating it, or just using it in a business. Experience using similar software is an advantage e.g. Service M8, Workflow Max, Tradify, Ascora etc. but not a requirement.
Even though you may know Simpro well, you will need to become a complete expert. This will entail doing training courses and working with the software until you become a master in using and implementing it. You are a self-driven quick learner who loves to master software and systems.
This role includes:
Onboarding new clients and understanding what scope they require.
Planning implementation to scope.
Building the system.
Organising the input of data.
Building forms and templates e.g. invoice templates.
Building reports to measure business performance.
Training staff and executive on using the system.
Ongoing maintaining and troubleshooting.
Upgrades etc.
It is not limited to the above. To start with you will work on simpler jobs. As your skill, knowledge and expertise develop you will be given more challenging and advanced jobs.
You are a person who loves business and improving it, has knowledge of various industries, particularly trades. You like people and can present to a group and can patiently help clients solve their workflow issues.
The majority of this role is truly remote and most can be done from a home office. However, some clients require in house delivery and training, so from time to time you will need to travel to site. Travel is approximately 1-3 days per month but varies. Travel expenses covered.
The travel will be in metro Sydney or interstate. While this job is mostly remote, you need to be situated in Sydney. There are times where you’ll need to jump in a car and go on site, sometimes with short notice. Interstate jobs will be scheduled in advance with plenty of notice.
This is a full time role. Your base salary will depend on your current level of skill and experience. There is plenty of room to grow.
The range starts from $60,000 + Super for those with little experience. $70-80,000 for those who have experience as a software consultant in Simpro or something similar.
However, if you’re an absolute gun and learn and grow quickly, taking on more responsibility and mastering the role, $100K-150K per annum is attainable within 12 months. A generous bonus structure exists for high performers and there are future growth opportunities in leadership roles.
If this fits your goals, apply now.
