About the role:
We are seeking a driven and detail-oriented Sales Support Officer to join our Kilsyth-based head office. This is a pivotal role supporting the Sales and Servicing teams across Septic Systems Australia. You will be responsible for lead coordination, quote and contract preparation, reporting, and customer engagement, ensuring a seamless experience from initial enquiry through to service delivery and post-sale. This is a unique opportunity for someone with a strong administrative, sales, and customer service mindset who enjoys working in a fast-paced, values-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate and vet inbound sales enquiries, assign to the appropriate sales representative, and support quote preparation and follow-up.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in CRM (Capsule), Field Insight, and internal sales and enquiry databases.
Assist with contract and servicing renewal processes and support tender applications.
Build and maintain strong customer relationships to drive repeat business and retention.
Develop and distribute weekly and monthly sales and customer service reports.
Handle client communications, including complaints and enquiries, with professionalism and a solutions-focused mindset.
Monitor and report on sales metrics, customer reviews, and industry trends to support continuous improvement.
Qualifications & Attributes:
Minimum 2 years’ experience in sales support, customer service or administration.
Proficiency in CRM systems and MS Office (especially Excel).
Highly organised with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Experience in writing, preparing and submitting tenders
Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
Self-starter with the ability to work autonomously and within a team.
Knowledge of the wastewater or construction industry is advantageous but not essential.
