The Role:
You’ll be responsible for preparing and reviewing all types of tax returns—including individuals, companies, trusts, and small businesses. This role is ideal for someone who can work independently and confidently without needing their work double-checked and can bring value to our unique clientele.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and lodge tax returns for individuals, companies, trusts, and small businesses

Manage BAS, IAS, and financial statements

Provide tailored tax planning and compliance advice

Liaise directly with clients and build strong relationships

Work autonomously and manage your own workflow – no micro-managing here

Use Xero accounting software to manage client accounts and reporting.

What We’re Looking For:

Minimum 3 years of experience in tax accounting (public practice preferred)

Strong understanding of Australian tax legislation including Company and Trust tax structures

Proficiency in Xero accounting software (preferred but not essential)

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

A team player who thrives in a small, collaborative environment

Excellent communication and client service skills
