ABOUT THE ROLE
This is a 12 month fixed term opportunity.
The Ngalla Wirrin Wungening (NWW) Coordinator of Groups supports a central component to the delivery of Ngalla Wirrin Wungening (Our Spirit Healing) model. This service delivers alcohol and other drug healing practices, through:

This role directly line-manages all NWW Group Facilitators, ensuring they are empowered, supported and aligned with program values and operational standards.
The NWW Group Coordinator is responsible for supporting, mentoring, and coordinating a network of group facilitators across Wungening AOD programs. This role ensures that all group sessions follow the NWW group structure of Knowing Doing Being, operate effectively, consistently, and in alignment with Wungening's values and strategic objectives.
This position blends strategic oversight, clinical supervision, operational coordination, and group program fidelity to ensure the consistent implementation of the NWW 'Healing Journey' model.
Key tasks of this position related to the delivery of NWW include:
Ensuring that each group program delivered by Wungening supports clients in line with the NWW Healing Journey
Provide onboarding, orientation, and ongoing support to group facilitators.
Provide leadership and supervision to NWW Group Facilitators across all hubs.
Coordinate daily activities through a variety of mechanisms, e.g. Daily Meeting.
Coordinate weekly team meetings.
Support the reflective practice of facilitators through individual and group supervision.
Split their time equally between place-based hubs.
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA
Relevant tertiary qualification in Social Work, mental health, AOD, psychology or equivalent professional experience.
Experience coordinating or supervising group-based service delivery in AOD, community, or mental health settings.
Demonstrated ability to lead and support a team to deliver culturally responsive services.
Experience in group facilitation and program planning using trauma-informed, culturally safe practices.
Knowledge and respect for Aboriginal culture, protocols, and boundaries.
Developed computer skills, including Microsoft Office Outlook, Word and Teams. (Desirable: Lumary)
Experience in collecting data, analysing information, and preparing reports.
PRE-EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS
WA Drivers Licence
WA Working with Children Card
National Police Clearance (dated within the last 3 months)
Department of Justice Clearance (as required)
