About the Company:

We’re partnered with a privately owned, fast-growing residential construction group known for quality delivery, strong leadership, and a supportive site culture. With projects ranging from high-end duplexes to 200+ unit apartment blocks, they’re looking to appoint a capable and motivated Site Manager to lead delivery on site and take ownership from start to finish.

You’ll be supported by an experienced delivery team, proven systems, and a senior leadership group that understands the realities of site life and genuinely backs their people.

About the Role:

As Site Manager, you’ll be the driving force behind on-site delivery across a broad mix of residential projects - from high specification homes to multi-storey apartment developments.You’ll take charge of daily operations on site, managing subcontractors, coordinating with the project team, and ensuring each stage of the build progresses safely, smoothly, and to a high standard.

You’ll work closely with experienced Project Managers and Contract Administrators, with clear communication and solid systems behind you.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage all on-site construction activities from site establishment through to handover

Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, trades, and suppliers to ensure work is completed on schedule and to standard

Monitor project timelines, sequencing and progress, proactively resolving issues or delays

Ensure all works are carried out in compliance with WHS regulations, quality benchmarks, and company procedures

Conduct daily pre-start meetings, toolbox talks, and enforce safety protocols and SWMS

Liaise closely with the Project Manager, Contract Administrator, and consultants to align site delivery with broader project goals

Maintain accurate and up-to-date site records, including site diaries, safety documentation, and material deliveries

Oversee site inspections, manage defect rectification, and prepare the site for practical completion

What We’re Looking For:

4+ years’ experience as a Site Manager on residential builds (homes, townhouses or apartments)

Previous exposure to mid- or high-rise projects (3–15 storeys) advantageous

Carpentry or trade background preferred, but not essential

High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple trades effectively

Confident reading and interpreting construction drawings

White Card, First Aid, and relevant safety tickets
