Position Overview

We are seeking a hands-on and detail-oriented Building Associate with a strong focus on site-based responsibilities. This role supports the day-to-day management of construction sites, ensuring that high-end projects are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities

· Assist Site and Project Managers in coordinating daily site operations.

· Interpret and implement construction plans, specifications, and codes of practice on-site.

· Monitor and inspect work to ensure compliance with architectural and engineering drawings.

· Coordinate subcontractors, trades, and deliveries to maintain workflow and project timelines.

· Support the preparation and updating of site documentation, including work programs and progress reports.

· Conduct quality checks and ensure materials and workmanship meet premium standards.

· Assist in managing site safety, including inductions, toolbox talks, and compliance with WHS regulations.

· Perform basic site surveying, data collection, and layout tasks using appropriate instruments.

· Track and report on project costs, timelines, and resource usage.

· Liaise with architects, engineers, and consultants to resolve on-site issues.

Qualifications and Experience

· Certificate IV or Diploma in Building and Construction, Site Management, or a related field.

· 2–3+ years of experience in a site-based construction role, ideally on high-end or architecturally designed projects.

· Strong understanding of construction sequencing, site logistics, and safety protocols.

· Ability to read and interpret detailed construction drawings and specifications.

· Proficiency in site documentation and reporting tools (e.g., SignOnSite, Procore, MS Project).

· Excellent communication and coordination skills.

· White Card, Silica Awareness Certificate and current driver’s license required.
