Are you an organised, proactive, and friendly administrator looking for a 3-month temporary role in Scoresby, with the exciting opportunity for ongoing work? We're seeking an enthusiastic Temporary Reception and Office Support professional to join our team, providing essential support to our team in the construction industry.

This role is perfect for someone who thrives on keeping an office running smoothly, loves a varied workload, and enjoys being the welcoming face of the company.

What You'll Do

You'll be the go-to person for ensuring our office is organised, welcoming, and fully stocked. Your diverse responsibilities will include:

  • Front Desk Management: Be the first point of contact, warmly welcoming visitors, answering incoming calls, and professionally managing general email inquiries.
  • Office & Kitchen Management: Keep our kitchen and office areas well-stocked by monitoring and ordering supplies (stationery, kitchen, general office supplies).
  • Events Assistance: Provide hands-on support for events, from collating invites and dietary requirements to assisting with setup and hosting.
  • Administrative Support: Handle basic typing of documents, basic Excel data entry, and order uniforms for the team.
  • Meeting Room Readiness: Ensure meeting rooms are always tidy, prepared for scheduled meetings, and offer water, tea, and coffee to guests.
  • General Office Support: Download and save marketing materials, follow up with cleaners regarding the comms book, and change security tapes as needed.
Who You Are

You're a highly organised individual with a positive can-do attitude. You'll also bring:

  • Proven Administration Experience: Prior experience in a reception or office support role.
  • Excellent Communication: Clear and professional telephone etiquette and strong written communication skills.
  • Proactive & Resourceful: Ability to take initiative, research solutions, and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Tech-Savvy: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Customer Service Focused: A friendly and welcoming demeanour with a commitment to providing excellent support.
  • Adaptable: Ready to jump in and assist with varied tasks as needed.
