Full time/part time senior medical receptionist wanted for small boutique medical practice.
Woollahra Family Medical Practice is owned by doctors providing up to date evidence-based medicine in both English and French. We are a small private billing Medical Practice ( with 2 FTE GPs and a visiting cardiologist) and operate by appointment only. Our practice is well set up with great ventilation and minimal patient traffic.
Our mission is to provide patient centred, evidence-based, up to date care as a team. We aim to become a medical home for our patients.
We are looking for an experienced person who is able to work independently, providing excellent customer service to match our medical services.
Qualifications & experience
Excellent communication skills are essential in this role, as you always represent the clinic in a professional manner
Absolute confidentiality regarding patients and practice information
Previous background with Medical Software/ Reception experience is preferred but not essential.
Attention to detail and accuracy are vital surrounding data entry
Excellent time management and organisational skills, together with being able to work independently as well as part of our team
A Reliable, adaptable, efficient and flexible approach to work is essential
Tasks & responsibilities
Greeting and welcoming patients to the practice
Answering phone calls promptly and courteously
Returning Patient emails/ enquiries
Distributing and processing correspondence accordingly
Coordinating appointment bookings
Processing payments (Medicare & Work cover)
General administrative/receptionist duties
Office management - overseeing smooth running of the practice
Cold chain management
