About the position
- An exciting opportunity is available for a part time Reporting Officer to join our team. Working closely with the Restrictive Practices and Critical Response Manager, the successful candidate will:
- Maintain an awareness of the NDIS and ACT Senior Practitioner’s legislation and practice standards pertaining to restrictive practices and the use of Positive Behaviour Support
- Review restrictive practice reports and undertake data entry and administration tasks to ensure Hartley’s restrictive practice reporting is accurate, completed on time, and to a high standard.
- Engage with Hartley staff and key stakeholders on matters relating to Restrictive practice reports and Positive Behaviour Support plans.
- Ensure Hartley’s databases on restrictive practices and associated Positive behaviour Support plans is accurate and up to date.
- Develop, implement and manage other quality improvement initiatives as agreed with the Restrictive Practices and Critical Response Manager.
- Undertake professional development relevant to this role
- Please note: Training will be provided in the context of restrictive practices and operational processes relating to this position.
- This role is a Permanent Part Time position (45.6 hours or 3 days a week) located in our Administration Office in Pearce ACT. The days can be negotiated with the successful candidate.
About the successful candidate
- Have an ability to be flexible and adaptable
- Have demonstrated experience with compliance, strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills (both oral and written).
- Excellent coordination skills, with the ability to plan well and complete tasks in accordance to organisational priorities and project parameters
Essential requirements for the position
- A current driving licence
- A WWVP card and First Aid certificate or the ability to obtain
- Understanding of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) and possess a NDIS certificate of completion https://training.ndiscommission.gov.au//course/index.php?categoryid=2
