The Opportunity

As a Project Coordinator - Architectural Metalwork, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the successful delivery of construction projects for Ogis Engineering Pty Ltd, a leading provider of high-quality architectural metalwork. This full-time position is based in Milperra, NSW.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate the procurement, scheduling, and logistics of architectural metalwork components for construction projects

Liaise with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure timely delivery and installation of metalwork elements

Monitor project progress, identify and resolve issues, and provide regular updates to the project management team

Assist with the preparation of project documentation, including plans, specifications, and progress reports

Support the project manager in the overall management of the project lifecycle

Ensure compliance with relevant building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards

What We're Looking For

Experience working on site or as a Project Coordinator for an engineering or related company

Knowledge of installation process for balustrades, handrails and small to medium structural steel projects.

Strong understanding of architectural metalwork design, manufacturing, and installation processes

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with clients, suppliers, and internal teams

Proficient in project management software and tools to track progress and provide regular updates

Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities to anticipate and resolve issues

Ability to read & interpret, architectural, structural & steel shop drawings

Ability to conduct site measures & perform site inspections

Experience with using Microsoft suite

Familiarity with relevant building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards
