About the Business
Rogers Construction Group is a privately owned Sydney based commercial construction company completing projects NSW wide with offices also in Newcastle and Wollongong. Rogers Construction Group specializes in education, corporate, retail, aged care/retirement living and government projects.
The company has experienced organic growth and are now seeking an additional Project Coordinator/Junior Project Manager to join our young and vibrant team. The role will entail working closely with the Operations Manager and joining a well-established Pre-Construction team.
About the role
As a minor works project coordinator your duties will include but not limited to:
Assist the operations manager with the successful delivery of minor works projects
Maintain our 8 + client rating.
Procurement of materials and suppliers in a timely fashion to meet tight deadlines.
Onboarding subcontractors to SEQ platforms
Compiling and tracking documentation required under the contract.
Site visits to assist with job knowledge.
Creation of purchase orders
Draft invoice preparation.
Draft quote preparation
Creation of site safety documentation.
Scheduling of internal and external trades people.
Issue weekly client reports.

What we are looking for & what will make you STAND out.
To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate has previous construction administration experience in facilities maintenance and refurbishment. To be considered you will ideally have the following.
Be proficient in MS Office suite.
Possess high level verbal & written communication skills.
Have excellent time management and communication skills.
Be committed and passionate.
Drivers license and own vehicle.
Previous construction knowledge is essential.
Willing to work as a team!
