The Role
The Project & Operations Coordinator is vital to ensuring smooth delivery of projects from initiation through hand-over while maintaining efficient day-to-day operational workflows across the factory and site install teams.
The role will be demanding, and every day will be fast paced and offer different challenges to overcome, and this will require candidates with exceptional time management and a calm, methodical nature. Reporting to the Company Director, whilst working within an industry leading, privately owned business that can offer excellent long term growth opportunity, it is ideal for candidates looking to learn and further their existing project management skills. This role liaises across Sales, Design, Production and external stakeholders to meet scope, budget, quality and timeline expectations and suitable candidates will demonstrate exceptional communication and influencing skills.
Your responsibilities will include, but is not limited to:
- Project Coordination, including the development of project schedules and timelines
- Manage productions schedules and coordinate logistics
- Weekly project reporting, facilitation and recording of project and sales meetings
- Arranging and coordinating supplies for each project
- Maintain the Simpro CRM, including PO's, install and delivery calendar, documentation library
- Process Improvement through tracking KPI's, implementing SOP's, and identifying inefficiencies
- Oversee quality and compliance, including internal audits and project reviews
- Develop and maintain strong customer relationships
- Act as the central point of contact for all internal staff, including factory foreman and designers
Skills & Requirements
This role requires a dynamic, hard working and committed individual with existing experience in a fit-out projects or building services related environment. In addition to possessing an understanding of pre-fab factory operations and install projects, the ideal candidate will demonstrate:
- A methodical & highly organised nature
- Have well-developed communication skills, both written and verbal
- Be confident, articulate, and able to problem solve whilst working under pressure
- Energetic, enthusiastic and show a pro-active attitude to your work
- Proficient in the use of SimPRO, MS Teams & SharePoint
- Ability to manage the liaison between suppliers, staff and customers
- Excellent time management and the ability to prioritise and multi-task
- A valid Australian working visa and driver's licence
- Developed skills in utilising various forms of IT hardware
- Existing knowledge in reading basic plans and drawings
