The ANMF (SA Branch) is seeking a dedicated and experienced Membership Administration & Payments Officer to join our team in a part-time, ongoing capacity.
This position is based on 25 hours per week, worked across four days – Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday. We offer flexibility in start and finish times, supporting a healthy work-life balance for the right candidate.
In this position, you will engage directly with ANMF (SA Branch) members responding to a wide range of enquiries related to membership fees, benefits, professional development, and workplace representation.
Reporting to the Team Leader – Membership and Enrolment, you will be part of a friendly, supportive and collaborative team, working closely with the Executive and Marketing teams. Your ability to build rapport with Members and provide accurate, efficient support will be key to your success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:
Provide high-quality support to ANMF (SA Branch) Members by handling inquiries, processing Member applications, and resolving payment issues.
Process membership applications, changes, and renewals.
Accurately record and maintain membership data within the iMIS database.
Review, verify, and reconcile membership payment transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Ensure timely and compliant processing of membership tasks in accordance with established procedures.
Maintain confidentiality and integrity when handling Member records and sensitive information.
Identify and resolve payment discrepancies in coordination with relevant internal teams.
Support membership growth and retention through proactive engagement and promotion of ANMF (SA Branch) services.
Contribute to internal team meetings and planning activities, and perform additional duties as required in line with organisational goals.
About You:
We’re seeking a caring, approachable, and enthusiastic individual who brings:
Experience in a membership support role or within a payments-related environment.
Strong customer service skills, with demonstrated ability to manage enquiries both over the phone and in person.
Proven experience in delivering high-quality administrative support and applying sound administrative practices.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a clear focus on delivering a positive member experience.
Demonstrated flexibility, a proactive approach to learning, and a genuine commitment to helping and supporting Members.
Proficient in computer systems, including the Microsoft Office Suite and membership or database platforms.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within defined organisational frameworks.
Demonstrated accuracy, efficiency, and attention to detail in data entry and record management.
Strong commitment to professionalism and high-quality outcomes that support the recruitment and retention of Members and Students.
Knowledge of iMIS membership database is highly desirable, but not essential.
Holds, or is willing to obtain, a current DHS Employment Probity Clearance and Working with Children Check (WWCC).

The Membership Administration & Payments Officer position is offered as a permanent part-time position, classified in the ASO2 range in accordance with the ANMF (SA Branch) Employees Agreement. Flexible work arrangements and an attractive salary package is available for the right candidate and will be based on experience and skills.
