About the role

Reporting to the Environments Operations Manager, the Purchasing and Administration Officer - Property provides high level primary administrative support to the Residential and Retirement Living Maintenance, Refurbishment, Capital Works and Property divisions.

The Purchasing and Administration Officer- Property is also responsible for ensuring annual maintenance schedules, servicing records, auditing and reporting is maintained to meet all associated aged care standards.

The position is predominantly based at the Central Office, however you may be required to regularly travel to all SCC sites.

About you

We are looking for people who will be the difference in the lives of our residents and clients.

The successful candidate will have the following:

  • Current, valid drivers licence.
  • Previous exposure to preventative maintenance schedules, reactive maintenance logs and purchasing systems, with the ability to edit and audit when required.
  • Strong administration skills, with high level of attention to detail
  • A working knowledge of purchasing systems (creating purchase requisitions, purchase orders and goods receipts of invoices)
  • Understanding of internet based applications for file sharing and communications
  • A basic knowledge of the requirements of the Aged Care Standards as are applicable to the role.
