About the Position
The Learning and Development Support Officer plays a key role in maintaining and enhancing Learning and Development (L&D) functions and training programs across the organisation. This position ensures the efficient operation of Student Management Systems, coordinates training activities, and provides high-quality administrative support. Responsibilities include records management, administration of compliance processes, such as Department for Human Services (DHS) and National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) screening renewals and supporting stakeholder engagement. The role also contributes to evaluation frameworks, policy adherence, and the continuous improvement of Learning and Development processes while fostering effective communication and strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
About You
In this fast-paced and high-volume setting, you’ll play a key role in supporting the learning lifecycle—managing data, coordinating training, and maintaining documentation across our systems. You’ll be someone who follows processes carefully yet brings sound judgment and flexibility when navigating situations that require interpretation or aren’t clearly defined.
We’re looking for a team player who’s confident working both independently and collaboratively, builds positive relationships with ease, and brings a proactive mindset to continuous improvement. Your strong organisational skills, reliability, and ability to adapt within a complex and evolving environment will help ensure a seamless experience for our leaders and employees.
Key Selection Criteria:
- Demonstrated high-level administrative skills and attention to detail, including accurate data entry, record keeping, and document management.
- Well-developed organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines, and manage a high-volume workload.
- Proven ability to build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders and deliver excellent customer service.
- Ability to apply a range of policies and procedures within a large, complex organisation, using sound judgment and initiative in situations requiring interpretation.
