We're looking for a top notch Broker Support Officer to join our awesome office team! This is a client facing role; you will be the lynchpin between our 5 finance specialists, 2 x loan processors and all our clients. You will be assisting our finance specialists to ensure the client’s journey from the initial finance appointment through to settlement and beyond is efficient and enjoyable.

Job Details and Responsibilities:

Operational

  • Support multiple Mortgage Brokers with their submissions
  • Provide relevant information to the Mortgage Brokers in preparation for their appointments with clients. This may include completing a serviceability calculator, providing CCR reports, initial proposals and anything else to assist in the meeting
  • Collect information and documents from the clients required to complete loan applications
  • Provide valuation intel and to assist with ordering and tracking relevant valuations as advised by the Finance Specialist
  • Work in collaboration with the Loan Processors and Mortgage Brokers to ensure they have all documents they require from the client prior to and post submission
  • Facilitate referrals between clients and external parties to meet compliance obligations
  • Complete settlement gifts, review requests and network referrals during the process
  • Maintain and update all client databases and document storage platforms to ensure consistency across the board with all departments
  • Provide and conduct regular workflow updates to each Finance Specialist and Loan Processor
  • Tracking and reporting of key business metrics relevant to the department and industry on a regular basis
  • Identify and alert any operation gaps, opportunities for improvement and growth by creating and implementing policies and procedures relevant to the role
  • Nurture β€˜settled’ client database by regular follow-ups at a minimum of bi-annually
  • Work closely with and cross-refer clients to other departments / professionals to meet their requirements including Acquisitions, Contracts Administration, Property Management, Accounting, Insurance and Solicitors
  • Work closely with Client Care Services in engaging previous settled buyers
  • Delighting clients with friendly and responsive customer service
  • Ad hoc duties as required within the scope of your role and abilities

Professional Attributes

  • Knowledge / Experience in Finance or Mortgage Broking preferred (**Individuals currently studying to become a Broker or individuals who have an interest in pursuing this avenue are also encouraged to apply)
  • Experience with residential property loans high desired
  • Great attention to detail, and ability to work with highly detailed sensitive information ensuring applications are correct the first time around
  • Positive, can do attitude with an ability to think outside the box! 😊
