About the Company:

One of Australia’s largest mining operations producing copper and zinc to global markets. Known for our commitment to safety, innovation, and operational excellence. You’ll play a key role in ensuring the reliability and performance of our heavy earthmoving equipment across the mining operation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out servicing, diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on a wide range of heavy mobile equipment (e.g., loaders, trucks, drills, graders, and excavators).
• Perform fault finding and troubleshooting to minimise equipment downtime.
• Conduct scheduled preventative maintenance and unscheduled repairs as required.
• Ensure all work is completed in accordance with site safety and environmental procedures.
• Maintain accurate service records and report equipment condition.
• Collaborate with supervisors, planners, and other trades to ensure operational efficiency.

To be successful in the role you will have:

• Australian recognised Trade Qualification – Heavy Diesel Mechanic / Mobile Plant Mechanic.
• Previous experience working on mining or heavy industrial mobile plant equipment.
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding ability across a range of OEM equipment (e.g., CAT, Komatsu, Sandvik, Epiroc).
• Sound understanding of hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Commitment to safety and compliance with site policies and procedures.
• Ability to work in a team and under minimal supervision.
• Experience with underground mining equipment (desirable but not essential).
