The Role:
Maintaining and repairing heavy diesel vehicles, including trucks, buses, and mobile plant equipment
Diagnosing and resolving complex mechanical issues
Performing scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance
Working in a safety-conscious, team-oriented environment
Accurately documenting repairs and maintenance records
Contribute to the maintenance and repair of diesel vehicles, ensuring they are in top condition for various industry applications
Utilize your expertise to troubleshoot and diagnose complex mechanical issues, showcasing your problem-solving skills
Work within a collaborative team environment, sharing knowledge and best practices to drive continuous improvement
Preferred Requirements:
Diesel Mechanics with 3+ years’ experience working on heavy vehicles, mobile plant, or fleet equipment
Candidates with a positive skills assessment from Trades Recognition Australia (TRA) or Vetassess (highly regarded)
Mechanics with strong hands-on experience and the ability to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain diesel engines and systems
Driver's license with the ability to operate and manoeuvre large vehicles safely and efficiently
Strong technical knowledge and hands-on experience in diesel engine maintenance and repair.
Excellent communication skills and a customer-centric approach to problem-solving.
