Senior Medical Receptionist - Private Psychiatrist | Buderim Private Hospital
• Employment Term: Permanent Part Time position available (15 hrs per week with the ability to work extra if required)

• Remuneration: $34.86 phr + 11.5% Super + Not for Profit Salary Packaging + Penalties & Allowances

Your part in Buderim Private Hospital team
The Medical Receptionist will support the overall, daily operation of the Private Practice Psychiatrist rooms. You will be responsible for a busy front desk reception, liaising with patients and all aspects of office administration that is important to the efficient flow of Sessional/Doctors rooms and connection where necessary with other areas or departments of the hospital. This position can also be required to work in other departments/wards of the hospital as required.
Role responsibilities:
General reception duties, answering phones, patient bookings, eftpos reconciliation
Medicare, DVA & Private Health Fund billing
Monitoring and responding to daily emails
Medical Typing
Monitoring of supplies – ensuring clinical and stationery supplies are adequately stocked.
Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring efficient service delivery in our fast-paced, specialist environment
Supervising the day-to-day operations of the practice.

Previous Experience in a similar role within the Healthcare Industry
Cert III in Business Administration or equivalent desirable
Strong understanding of healthcare regulations, policies and procedures
Proficient in using medical software, Gentu, Microsoft Office and other relevant IT systems
Passionate about working with people and an approachable management style
Exceptional organisational and multitasking abilities.
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to handle stressful situations with grace and professionalism.
Intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Word
High attention to detail
Effective time management skills
Ability to work Autonomously
