- Ongoing fulltime role at 35 hours per week plus FlexTime
- Sydney location with hybrid working from home and office supported
- Salary range from $110,266 to $122,058 plus super and leave loading
EnergyCo NSW is spearheading the transition to renewable energy to deliver clean electricity to the people of NSW as coal-fired power stations near closure.
About the Opportunity
As a member of a close-knit and collaborative procurement team, you’ll contribute to the delivery of critical infrastructure by supporting predominantly professional services and infrastructure advisory services procurement activities across the organisation. This role offers the chance to work in a values-driven environment where your expertise helps drive good governance, value-for-money outcomes, and best-practice procurement.
You'll provide advice, support sourcing activities, assist with contract negotiations, and help build procurement capability across the agency. Working closely with internal teams and broader NSW Government stakeholders, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our procurement processes are robust, transparent and aligned with business needs.
About You
You’re a proactive and solutions-focused procurement professional who enjoys working collaboratively in a small team and stepping in to help where needed. Whether it’s taking the lead on a task or supporting others based on priorities and capacity, you're flexible, dependable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. You're confident explaining procurement processes to stakeholders, helping them navigate complex frameworks, and encouraging best practice, even when timelines are tight. Ideally, you have an understanding of the NSW Procurement Policy Framework, have experience in government procurement and/or have worked within complex policy and legislative environments. You’re able to work independently, use your initiative, and provide clear, practical advice.

Who we are?
The Energy Corporation of NSW (EnergyCo) is a statutory corporation established under the Energy and Utilities Administration Act 1987 and governed by its Board, appointed by the Minister for Energy. EnergyCo is a Staff Agency employing all EnergyCo staff and is an agency related to the Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water (DCCEEW).
EnergyCo plays a pivotal role in the NSW Government’s Electricity Infrastructure Roadmap, which aims to transform the state’s electricity system into one that is cheap, clean, and reliable. As Infrastructure Planner under the Electricity Infrastructure Investment Act 2020, EnergyCo is responsible for leading the delivery of the State’s first five Renewable Energy Zones (REZs) and the first two priority transmission infrastructure projects (PTIPs), which are located in the Central-West Orana, New England, South West, Hunter-Central Coast, and Illawarra regions. We work closely with communities, investors, and industry to investigate, plan, recommend and coordinate generation, storage and network infrastructure projects.
