Are you a passionate Early Childhood Teacher with a flair for leadership and a love for little learners?
At Little Voyagers Early Learning Centre – Chifley, we're all about creating a nurturing, inspiring, and play-filled space where children can explore, grow, and discover the world around them. We're on the lookout for an enthusiastic and experienced Room Leader (ECT) to join our vibrant crew and help guide our young voyagers on their educational journey!

About the Role:

As a Core Educator & Room Leader, you'll take the helm of your classroom—leading a team of educators, crafting magical learning experiences, and building meaningful connections with children and families alike. No two days are ever the same, and that's what makes it exciting!

What You'll Be Doing:

Leading your group of curious little learners in a fun, safe, and inclusive environment

Creating and delivering creative, age-appropriate programs that spark joy and learning

Keeping an eye on each child's growth and development, and supporting them every step of the way

Mentoring and inspiring your team with positivity, passion, and purpose

Making sure everything runs smoothly and in line with centre policies and regulations

Building strong, trusting relationships with families—you're their partner in their child's early years

Designing a warm and engaging space where kids feel safe and excited to learn

Staying fresh and inspired through ongoing professional development opportunities

What You Bring:

A Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education (or ACECQA-approved equivalent)

Minimum 2 years' experience as a Room Leader or senior educator in an early learning setting

A strong understanding of child development and the EYLF

Amazing communication and leadership skills

A nurturing, proactive, and creative approach to teaching

A current Working with Children Check

Current First Aid Certificate, including CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis management certifications

Current Teacher Registration with the relevant state teaching authority

Completed Child Protection Training (or willingness to obtain before commencement)

Demonstrated understanding of the National Quality Standards (NQS)
