WHO WE ARE
St Joseph’s Family Services (SJFS) is a highly professional child and family-focused organisation. We have three childcare centres operating under our SJFS banner, who work together to provide the highest standard of education and care for our children and families.
We have been offering our innovative, inclusive and responsive early education and care services to the Port Macquarie Hastings’ community for over 50 years, proudly one of the first early education services in our area.
We value the contribution of all our team members as each one brings something uniquely special to our organisation. As an Early Childhood Teacher, you will be an integral part of our team, contributing your skills and passion to providing a safe, enriching and caring environment for children, their families and for our team to learn, grow and thrive.
St Joseph’s Family Services (SJFS) is a part of St Agnes’ Catholic Parish, a Catholic community located in beautiful Port Macquarie on the Mid North Coast of NSW, Australia. Since the first St Agnes’ Catholic church was built in 1878, the Parish has played an essential role in caring for, guiding and growing the local community.
As a part of the Parish, SJFS receives wonderful support and resources from the wider Parish business structures, which adds to our enjoyable and supportive work environments.
ABOUT THE ROLE
When you work at SJFS, you work as part of a passionate team of educators working in partnership, providing high quality care and education together with the Service Manager, staff team, families and the broader community of the St Agnes’ Catholic Parish services.
We aim to recruit the right person to this leadership role; someone with a strong work ethic, a respect for a values-driven influence across our operations and culture and a love of learning. We have exciting leadership opportunities for qualified and passionate Early Childhood Teachers, full-time and part-time. These roles are currently vacant at our St Agnes’ Early Education Centre.
As ‘One Body’ we strive to work with our team to ensure the best balance between operational requirements and a healthy work/life balance.
The roles are rewarding as the contribution you will bring to our collaborative team will help our organisation to continue to create dynamic and engaging learning environments for all the children in our care and support the continued growth of our teams.
New graduates with a Bachelor of Early Childhood are encouraged to apply.
