The Role
We’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Finance Administrator to manage our financial processes. You will play a key role in ensuring compliance, optimising financial operations, and supporting business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee financial reporting, including budgets, forecasts, and internal reports.
Process payments, refunds, invoices, and maintain accurate financial records.
Assist in payroll processing and ensure compliance with taxation and superannuation obligations.
Ensure adherence to financial regulatory requirements and company policies.
Liaise with clients and stakeholders regarding payment plans and outstanding fees.
Collaborate with internal teams to support smooth financial operations.
Support external audits by preparing and providing necessary documentation.
Handle finance applications with clients over the phone when required.
Manage and reduce debtors, negotiating terms with vendors to optimise cash flow.
Continuously improve financial processes to enhance efficiency and strengthen systems.
Maintain an in-office presence to effectively support financial operations.

What We’re Looking For
Essential:
Previous experience in a finance administration role, preferably within an RTO or education sector.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and RTO compliance.
Proficiency in financial software (e.g., Xero, MYOB) and Microsoft Excel.
High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Desirable:
Understanding of financial regulations and compliance in a corporate environment.
Experience with financial management systems and enterprise software.
Relevant qualifications in finance, accounting, or business administration.
