• Position: Team Leader - Treasury and Accounts Receivable
• Start Date: ASAP - Immediate start
• Length of Assignment: Up to 4 months
• Shifts: Monday to Friday - In office
• Casual Pay rate: $64.82 - 73.61 per hour + super
• Location: Canberra, ACT

Job Brief/Overview:

Our government client is seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Team Leader who will be able to join the team for a temporary assignment, with a duration of up to 4 months. The successful team leader will be reporting into the Assistant Director, Financial Operations.

Duties:

• reconciliations,
• journals, and
• executive and management reporting.

• Oversee the Accounts Treasury and Receivable activities + Lead, supervise and develop a small team.
• Participate in day-to-day operational functions including: account processing, invoicing, monitoring and review, quality assurance, customer service, reconciliations, validations and corrections and records management to ensure the department’s financial and governance responsibilities and obligations are achieved.
• Undertake research interpret and apply legislative requirements including Commonwealth financial compliance and legislative frameworks to resolve moderately complex issues.
• Preparation and approval of end of month processes including but not limited to:

Ideal Candidate:

The successful candidate will need to showcase the below:

• 2-3 years AR Supervisor experience
• Understand of Whole of Aus Gov legislation, procedures and policies
• Experience using financial systems and software packages - Expense8, TechnologyOne and Excel.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Attention to detail
• Continuous improvement mindset
