Skills SA is the steward of South Australia's funded vocational education and training (VET) system, driving successful outcomes for individuals, the economy, and the wider community. It provides policy leadership for the South Australian VET sector by objectively assessing skill needs and strategically managing public investment to maximize skills development.
Working within our Digital Transformation Team, as the Product Manager you will manage and oversee the continued development of key ICT platforms within the division which are critical to business operations and service reform. This role will provide leadership to the project team and stakeholders, and is responsible for the planning, monitoring and implementation of our Salesforce platform. This is a pivotal role for a forward-thinking leader who thrives at the intersection of technology, business transformation, and stakeholder engagement.
More specifically, you will:
Lead the adoption, development, and alignment of key ICT platforms, including Salesforce, to meet business and customer needs.
Manage the product roadmap, backlog, and delivery of enhancements in collaboration with internal stakeholders and external vendors.
Provide strategic leadership across the Digital Transformation Program, ensuring systems are aligned with business objectives and deliver measurable outcomes.
Oversee data quality, system administration, and user adoption to ensure high performance and compliance.
Act as a key liaison between business units, ICT, and executive leadership to drive innovation and continuous improvement.
Key Competencies:
To succeed in this role, a results-oriented leader who can demonstrate:
Experience leading complex technology projects and product teams, ideally within a government or large-scale service environment.
Strong knowledge of Salesforce or similar CRM platforms, with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
Expertise in digital transformation, system integration, and change management.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
A proactive, analytical mindset with the ability to solve complex problems and manage competing priorities.
Remuneration:
Competitive salary will be offered as $121,107 to $125, 679 pa plus superannuation

Essential: Tertiary qualifications, or related experience, in relevant discipline.
