About the Role
We're seeking an experienced Senior Salesforce Developer with a strong consulting background to join our clients team in South Australia. This role requires a technical expert who can design, build, and implement sophisticated Salesforce solutions across diverse client environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy custom Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components, and Visualforce
• Create complex integrations between Salesforce and external systems using APIs, middleware, and integration tools
• Develop scalable, maintainable code solutions that adhere to Salesforce best practices and design patterns
• Assist with Architecture design, application, through to implementation
• Perform code reviews and provide technical mentorship to junior developers
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across Salesforce environments
• Collaborate with Business Analysts to translate requirements into technical specifications
• Implement automated testing strategies and maintain high code coverage
• Create and maintain technical documentation for all development work
• Advise clients on technical feasibility, approach, and best practices
• Stay current with Salesforce platform updates and new features

Required Skills & Experience

• 5-10 years of professional experience as a Salesforce Developer with an extensive consulting background
• Advanced proficiency in Apex programming, Lightning Web Components, and Visualforce
• Strong understanding of Salesforce data model, security model, and governor limits
• Experience with Salesforce APIs, integration patterns, and middleware solutions
• Proven experience implementing complex business logic and automation using Process Builder, Flow, and Apex triggers
• Experience with version control systems (Git) and deployment tools
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies
• Experience working across multiple client engagements and industries
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders

Technical Requirements

• Salesforce certifications (Platform Developer I & II, Application Architect or System Architect etc.)
• Experience with JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3
• Knowledge of SOQL, SOSL, and database concepts
• Experience with data migration tools and techniques
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines

Desirable Skills

• Experience with Salesforce DX and modern development frameworks
• Knowledge of Lightning Design System
• Experience with Salesforce CPQ, Marketing Cloud, or other advanced Salesforce products
• Experience with mobile development on the Salesforce platform
• Contribution to Salesforce open-source projects or AppExchange packages
• Experience mentoring junior developers
