We’re looking for a compassionate, culturally aware Welfare and Wellbeing Coordinator to join our team and play a vital role in supporting our seasonal and permanent Pacific and TImor Leste workers. In this hands-on and people-focused position, you’ll be the vital link between the business and our seasonal and permanent Pacific workforce. From welcoming new arrivals to coordinating wellbeing initiatives, your work will help build a safe, respectful and inclusive environment where people feel supported to thrive.

What you’ll be doing

• Building trust and strong relationships with PALM workers and be a culturally aware liasion between the workforce and management
• Coordinating wellbeing activities like health education, financial literacy and connections with community groups
• Supporting onboarding, housing, and community integration for new arrivals
• Offering one-on-one support around mental health, personal issues, and workplace challenges
• Connecting and supporting workers with access to external services (health, counselling, financial support, etc.)
• Conducting regular visits and checks of accommodation facilities
• Working closely with People and Culture, Bulmer Farms team leaders, and supervisors to proactively address welfare concerns

What You’ll Bring

• Empathy, great communication, and a natural ability to connect with people
• Experience in welfare support, community work, or pastoral care (advantageous but not mandatory)
• Understanding of Pacific cultures and migration programs (like the PALM scheme)
• Resilience and calm when responding to sensitive or complex situations
• Basic knowledge of workplace health, safety and wellbeing (or willingness to learn)
• Good organisational and record-keeping skills
• A valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel between sites (between Bairnsdale and Lindenow)
