The opportunity
Vacenti is seeking a Full-time Roster Officer to join the Administration Team at our Mount Gravatt facility. You will work closely with the Facility Manager and Human Resource Department to ensure that core rostering practices are adhered to. This role also ensures compliance with budgets, qualifications, and employment agreements while also assisting with basic payroll functions like timesheet approvals. It is on-site- Monday- Friday 6am- 2pm.
Your main responsibilities will include:
Assist the Roster Supervisor & Facility Managers in the preparation and maintenance of Master and Working Rosters.
Monitor and maintain attendance and absenteeism within the working roster to ensure staffing needs are met.
Ensure compliance with workforce competencies, qualifications and workplace conditions as per employee contracts and EBAs.
Help the HR and Finance team with payroll-related tasks.
Assist the Roster Supervisor with reporting and analysis of workforce trends.
Assist with the investigation and reconciliation of variances between roster, timesheet and payroll.
To be successful in this position you will need:
Experience or a bit of knowledge in rostering and scheduling, preferably within the aged care or health sector. Open to transferrable skills and happy to provide training.
Highly developed communication skills (written and verbal) and effective interpersonal skills.
A positive team-based attitude.
Very high attention to detail.
High computer literacy.
