Rostering Officers – NDIS (Full Time) and Aged Care (Part Time)
Help deliver Beyond Ordinary care through responsive, person-centred scheduling.
GCLA has been supporting people with disability and older Australians to live well at home and in the community since 1977. We are a registered NDIS and Aged Care provider offering a wide range of services, including High Intensity Supports, Supported Independent Living (SIL), Home Care Packages, Social Enterprise programs, and more.
We’re currently recruiting for two key roles in our scheduling team:
Rostering Officer – NDIS (Full Time)
Rostering Officer – Aged Care (Part Time)
Each role plays a vital part in ensuring our customers receive safe, consistent, and tailored support from the right staff, at the right time.
About the Roles
Reporting to the relevant Service Delivery Leader, each Rostering Officer is responsible for coordinating daily rosters that reflect individualised support plans, staff capacity, and compliance requirements.
NDIS Rostering Officer (Full Time): Manages schedules for participants with disability across a variety of support types, ensuring continuity of care, skill matching, and service responsiveness. May include after-hours support on rotation.
Aged Care Rostering Officer (Part Time): Oversees scheduling for Commonwealth Home Support Program (CHSP), Home Care Packages (HCP), and related in-home aged care services. Focused on ensuring safety, access, and consistency for older customers.
Key Responsibilities
Build and maintain daily rosters based on participant needs, staff availability, qualifications, and preferences
Communicate roster changes with support workers, customers, and internal teams
Manage unplanned leave, cancellations, or changes in service in a timely manner
Ensure compliance with relevant industrial awards, NDIS Practice Standards, or Aged Care Quality Standards
Accurately record shift details, worker availability, and service changes in rostering systems
Collaborate with HR and Finance on timesheets and payroll requirements
About You
We’re looking for organised, calm, and solution-focused individuals who can juggle multiple priorities while keeping people at the centre of every decision.
To succeed in either role, you’ll ideally have:
Experience in rostering, scheduling, or workforce coordination
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Attention to detail and confidence with digital rostering tools
A sound understanding of NDIS or Aged Care compliance (or willingness to learn)
Ability to manage competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment
What We Offer
Salary packaging of up to $15,899 per year
Paid wellbeing day every six months
Ongoing training and support
An inclusive, values-driven culture
Opportunities to grow with an organisation that genuinely cares
