Embark on a new journey by stepping into the dynamic world of Queensland Treasury as a Correspondence Officer, where you'll play a key support role in our executive and ministerial services. Your role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth management of correspondence, upholding our high standards, and meeting critical deadlines. This is your chance to play a part in the strategic operations of the Office of the Under Treasurer, Office of the Treasurer and Office of the Minister for Finance.
In this role, you will:
• play a key part in crafting and finalising executive correspondence, ensuring format, accuracy, and adherence to standards
• offer guidance and support to Treasury officers in using the Correspondence Workflow System, along with associated systems, templates, and guidelines
• monitor, track, and report on correspondence promptly, meeting deadlines and maintaining top-tier quality standards.
• aid in coordinating feedback to departmental officers, dispatching final responses, and completing items within the Correspondence Workflow System.
• liaise with Shareholding Minister departments for timely correspondence.
• build and maintain professional relationships within Treasury and with other government agencies on correspondence protocols and matters.
• address and accurately direct client queries for the Office of the Treasurer and Treasury on the published phone lines.

• Proficiency in using computer systems and software for correspondence management.
While no mandatory qualifications are needed for this role, relevant experience will be highly regarded.
