What you will do as the Test Manager

Your role as the Test Manager will be to develop, coordinate and implement an organisational testing strategy whilst building a permanent capability of professional highly skilled testing resources.

Working under broad direction you will:

  • Lead, manage and grow the testing team.
  • Oversee test planning, development & execution of test cases, defect management and reporting across multiple projects or initiatives.
  • Promote test automation to improve coverage and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with Project Managers and other project stakeholders to embed quality into all stages of delivery.
  • Establish and maintain test environments and support continuous improvement initiatives.

About you

In order to succeed in the role, you will have:

  • Demonstrated experience in a Test Manager role, overseeing testing teams responsible for application development projects and infrastructure initiatives, including system and integration testing of large-scale systems, using both manual and automated testing methods.
  • Demonstrated experience leading a testing team or similar role in a fast-paced and large complex people-centred organisation, and with the ability to implement and direct changing priorities.
  • Experience in establishing new team processes and procedures to achieve outstanding results.
  • Applied experience with Agile testing methodology.
  • ISTQB Certification is highly desirable.
