About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Senior Clinical Social Worker to join our specialist multidisciplinary team at the Central Adelaide Local Health Network (CALHN). In this pivotal role, you will manage a complex clinical caseload while providing expert consultancy and advice to colleagues and management. You will also play a key role in supervising and mentoring social work staff and students, contributing to professional development and fostering a culture of excellence across our Single Service, Multiple Site model.
Beyond direct clinical work, you will lead and participate in quality improvement initiatives and research projects aimed at enhancing service delivery and patient outcomes. About You
You are a highly skilled and experienced social work professional with advanced clinical expertise and a strong commitment to patient-centred care. With excellent leadership and communication skills, you thrive in multidisciplinary teams and drive service improvement through evidence-based practice and innovation.
Qualified Social Worker with eligibility for full membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers
Extensive clinical experience with proven ability to manage complex cases independently
Strong leadership skills, including clinical supervision and fostering inclusive, respectful team cultures
Knowledgeable in evidence-based practice, research, health system dynamics, and quality improvement
