Senior Application Developer

Our State Governement client is looking for two experienced Senior Application Developers to join a high-impact digital project focused on delivering a new, data-driven government web platform. You’ll work as part of a small, agile team building scalable, user-first applications that will support Queenslanders in navigating education and training pathways.

🔧 Contribute to the design, development, and ongoing enhancement of a greenfield platform using modern frameworks and cloud-native tools. You'll be joining a collaborative project team with strong executive support and a clear delivery roadmap.

🛠️ Key Tech Skills Required:

• Languages/Frameworks: Strong commercial experience in Typescript, JavaScript, and C# (.NET).
• Front-End/Back-End: Experience building responsive components in Vue.js, Next.js, or Node.js runtime environments.
• Cloud: Proven experience deploying secure, scalable apps in Microsoft Azure.
• DevSecOps: Hands-on with CI/CD pipeline configuration, release automation, and secure coding practices.
• CMS: Previous work with Matrix, AEM, or similar content management systems.
• Bonus: Familiarity with the QLD Government Design System, MS Power Platform (including Power Automate), and knowledge of ITSM processes.

💼 Role Responsibilities:

• Develop and support cloud-native applications aligned with industry best practices.
• Partner with stakeholders to analyse requirements and deliver robust technical solutions.
• Ensure code quality, documentation, and solution integrity across the SDLC.
• Contribute to change management, risk assessments, and technical decision-making.
