Aspirante is working with a QLD government department to assist in their search for a Senior User Interface Developer with a passion for crafting seamless, user-friendly web experiences. This role will work within a collaborative digital team delivering high-impact, customer-focused services across a range of digital channels.
We’re looking for a Senior User Interface Developer with strong front-end development skills and a passion for building accessible, innovative digital solutions. You’ll work as part of an Agile team to deliver modern, scalable UI components and interfaces that make a real difference to how users engage with services online.

What you’ll do:

• Develop intuitive, responsive web interfaces using HTML5, CSS/SCSS, JavaScript and modern frameworks like Angular, React or Vue.js
• Analyse business requirements and translate them into effective UI solutions
• Collaborate with designers, developers, testers and stakeholders to deliver quality outcomes
• Contribute to UI/UX design processes including concept scoping, testing strategies and user acceptance studies
• Drive best practices and continuous improvement within the team

What you bring:

• Build tools (NPM, Gulp, Webpack, Vite)
• Testing frameworks (Jasmine, Jest, Cypress, Selenium)
• REST API integration and SQL
• Design system or Storybook/Chromatic implementation

• Strong front-end development experience in an Agile delivery environment
• Proficiency with HTML5, CSS/SCSS, JavaScript, and frameworks such as Angular, React or Vue.js
• Familiarity with tools like Node.js, Git, Bootstrap, and jQuery
