About the role

Join our dynamic team at Link-Force Au' as a Junior Quantity Surveyor. This is a full-time position based in our Perth, Western Australia office, where you will play a crucial role in supporting the delivery of construction projects. As part of our growing Surveying team, you will contribute to the financial and contractual management of projects, ensuring the successful completion of our clients' construction initiatives.

What you'll be doing

Assist in the preparation of cost estimates, budgets, and tender submissions for construction projects

Conduct detailed quantity take-offs and measurements to support the costing and planning of projects

Review and interpret contract documents, drawings, and specifications to identify risks and opportunities

Participate in the administration of construction contracts, including the processing of progress claims, variations, and final accounts

Collaborate with project teams to monitor and report on project cost, time, and quality performance

Support the continuous improvement of our quantity surveying processes and documentation

What we're looking for

Tertiary qualification in Civil's Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related discipline

1-3 years of relevant experience in a quantity surveying or construction cost management role

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret technical information

Proficiency in using construction cost estimating and project management software

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment

Familiarity with Australian construction industry standards, regulations, and contract administration processes
