Role Highlights:

As a Payroll Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of payroll for a large, diverse workforce. Working within a fast-paced and highly regulated environment, you will be responsible for managing end-to-end payroll operations using ADP, maintaining employee records, ensuring compliance with enterprise agreements and statutory obligations, and providing support to staff across all levels of the business.

This role requires strong attention to detail, a sound understanding of payroll legislation, and the ability to work collaboratively with HR, Finance, and operational teams to deliver efficient and compliant payroll services that support broader workforce and operational goals.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately process regular payroll cycles using ADP, including wages, bonuses, deductions, and overtime.
• Maintain and update employee data in ADP, ensuring correct setup for pay, tax, and benefits.
• Ensure payroll is compliant with tax laws and employment legislation (e.g. PAYG, STP, superannuation), and submit necessary reports to the ATO.
• Reconcile payroll data with financial records, general ledger, and bank statements.
• Handle employee payroll queries and provide clear information on payslips, tax, and leave balances.
• Generate payroll and audit reports for internal stakeholders and assist with month-end processes.
• Identify inefficiencies, support audits, and collaborate with HR/Finance to improve payroll operations
