Western Automate is a family-owned automatic gate & fencing company based in Cockburn Central. We are looking for an experienced full-time automatic gate service technician to join our growing team.

Your position will typically cover replacement automation/access controls, servicing, breakdowns, repairs, troubleshooting, and technical diagnostics.

Experience and Skills Required

Proven experience in installation & maintenance of automatic gate motors & access controls

Experience with electric hand tools such as drills and angle grinders

Excellent problem solving and fault finding skills

Ability to build rapport with clients, deliver superior service and carry out quality workmanship

Basic welding experience

Possess a current manual driver's license

Police clearance

Right to work in Australia

Ability to work independently & unsupervised

Excellent communication skills

Responsibilities Will Include

Installation of gate-motors, remote controls, intercom and access controls

Servicing &, repairing of existing automation systems

Diagnosing technical problems, determining corrective actions, and repairing products.

Problem-solving

Low voltage Electrical work

Basic Welding

Wiring, cabling, and connections

Attending to call outs

Provide assessments, photos , reports, and feedback to office

Highly Regarded but not necessary:

Restricted Electrical License

Remuneration package includes

The successful applicant will start on a probationary period of 3 months with the opportunity for full time after the probation period.

$90-$110k per annum (depending on experience)

4 x 10hour Day Weeks , Tuesday-Friday
