About our client
Our client is a national provider of air-conditioning and building services solutions, supporting commercial buildings, industrial facilities and retail environments. They employ over 1,000 professionals across Australia and New Zealand.

About the opportunity
This full-time position is based on a 38-hour week, Monday to Friday, with overtime paid at double time beyond eight hours. The HVAC Service Technician will respond to breakdowns, conduct scheduled maintenance, and complete upgrades on a broad range of air-conditioning and refrigeration systems in commercial and retail environments. In this role, you will:

• Complete maintenance and breakdown repairs on HVAC systems
• Attend service calls across various commercial and industrial sites
• Accurately diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC equipment
• Liaise with clients and stakeholders professionally
• Assist in mentoring apprentices

About you
You are an experienced HVAC technician with relevant trade qualifications and licences. You have strong troubleshooting abilities and a sound understanding of workplace safety. To be successful in this role, you will ideally be able to:

• Demonstrate Commercial HVAC experience.
• Navigate, understand and troubleshoot using a variety of BMS control platforms.
• Possess Cert 3 Engineering Mechanical Trade | Refrigeration / Air-Conditioning
• Possess Cert 3 Electrotechnology | Electrician
• Demonstrate sound WHS awareness
• Communicate clearly (written and verbal) and be well presented

This role requires a national police background check. You must have the right to work in Australia on a long-term basis.
