The Role:

As a Design Manager, you will play a pivotal role in leading and managing our design team while ensuring that all projects are executed to the highest standard. Your responsibilities will include:

Leading and overseeing the design process for both commercial and residential projects.

Managing the design team and providing guidance to ensure creative and technical excellence.

Collaborating with clients to understand their requirements and translating them into design concepts.

Reviewing and approving design layouts, drawings, and specifications.

Ensuring designs are in line with project timelines, budget, and client expectations.

Coordinating with production teams to ensure the feasibility and execution of designs.

Staying up-to-date with industry trends and materials to deliver innovative solutions.

Managing project timelines and liaising with stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery.

The Successful Candidate Must Possess the Following:

Proven experience as a Design Manager or in a senior design role within the joinery or related fields.

Strong proficiency in design software (Cabinet Vision).

A good understanding of materials, production processes, and joinery techniques.

Excellent project management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects.

Strong leadership abilities with experience in managing a team.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

A strong attention to detail and a passion for design excellence.

A creative and innovative approach to solving design challenges.

A commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.

A current driver’s license.
