Position: Customer Service Officer (Call Centre)
Location: Logan
Employment Type: Mon – Fri, 38 hrs a week until Sep 2025 with possibility of extension
Payrate: $39/hr + super
Maxima is currently seeking various highly motivated individuals as Customer Service Office(Call centre) for one of our government clients.
About the Role
As a Customer Service Representative, you will deliver high-value front-end customer service through our contact centres, service counters, corporate reception, and digital channels. You’ll be the first point of contact, resolving inquiries efficiently and professionally — making a real difference in how our community experiences local government.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide courteous and efficient service in person, over the phone, and via electronic media
- Process payments and respond to customer requests accurately and in a timely manner
- Support the operations of multiple Council departments
- Identify and suggest improvements to processes, services, and information systems
- Participate in training and contribute to a positive and high-performing team environment
What We’re Looking For:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills — with the ability to handle enquiries calmly and professionally
- Customer-focused mindset and a natural problem solver
- Proven experience in a busy contact centre or front-line customer service environment
- Tech-savvy with sound skills in databases, Microsoft Office, and web-based platforms
- A team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys continuous improvement
Desirable Qualifications
- Certificate III or IV in Customer Contact or a related qualification
