Early Childhood Teacher and Diploma Positions Available, including Group Leader
(SC 494 and SC 482 Visa Employer Sponsorship Available)
The Falcam Family are currently looking for enthusiastic, caring and reliable Diploma Qualified (Early Childhood Education and Care) childcare workers, Group Leaders and Bachelor Qualified Early Childhood Teachers, for our centre located in Yass, New South Wales.
PLEASE NOTE : These positions are open to all Australian residents as well as international candidates interested in applying for either a Subclass 482 Visa as an Early Childhood (Pre-Primary School) Teacher/Diploma Qualified Educator position or candidates interested in applying for a Subclass 494 Skilled Employer Sponsored Regional (Provisional) Visa as a Diploma Qualified Group Leader. Visa applicants must meet strict criteria to be eligible. The advertised positions are 37.5 hours per week, Monday-Friday, and based on 7.5 hrs per day on a rotating roster (Successful 482/494 applicants will be employed on a full time 38 hour per week basis). Candidates applying for the SC 494 sponsored positions MUST HAVE or be able to provide proof of application for an ACECQA (Australian Children’s Education & Care Quality Authority) Migration Skills Assessment.

Early Learning on Rossi in Yass - located in New South Wales approximately 45 mins from Canberra, in the historic country township of Yass. We are committed to providing quality educational programs to the Yass community through the provision of a wonderful and caring learning space for local children. The modern learning environment offers an intimate setting providing care in our two babies rooms 0-1 years as well as our 1-2 years, 2-3 years, 3-4 years and 4-5 year old rooms. Praised by our parents as always being ‘safe and clean’ the centre also boasts a fantastic yard with plenty of learning opportunities for the children. Job Description:
Opportunities for passionate, Early Childhood Teachers and Diploma Qualified Educators and Group Leaders to join our friendly family owned and operated services are now available. The successful candidates will be working alongside a team of experienced educators, you will be responsible for fostering a nurturing and stimulating learning environment. You are expected to be an active leader of a team which provides high quality early childhood education and care to children.
Your duties will include but not be limited to ;
Leading, guiding and supporting a team which provides high quality early childhood education and care;
Planning, implementing and evaluating programs for children that align with our values and policies.
Developing strong interpersonal relationships with colleagues, children, parents and families.
Implementing and always upholding the policies and associated procedures and practices of the organisation.
Working in accordance with the requirements of the Education and Care Services National Law and applicable regulations and the National Quality Standard for Early Education and Care.
Essential Criteria:
Hold a current Australian Children’s Education & Care Quality Authority (ACECQA) approved Early Childhood Teacher qualification (ECT) or diploma level early childhood education and care qualification (Diploma Educator / Group Leader position).
Hold a current First Aid Certificate - Child Care approved (HLTAID012 or HLTAID004) including current CPR certificate.
New South Wales Working with Children’s Check (WWCC)
Demonstrated understanding of the National Quality Standard and the Early Years Learning Framework
Provide two recent work-based references.
This position is identified as a Child Safe work-related position. All successful applicants will be subject to verified WWCC and must demonstrate a commitment to uphold our Child Safe Standards.
Australian Citizenship or Visa Eligibility, if required.
Visa Sponsorship Candidates: candidates applying for the SC 482/494 sponsored positions must meet the eligibility criteria pertaining to respective visas which includes ;
ACECQA Qualification Assessment (SC482) OR ACECQA Migration Skills Assessment (SC494)
Completed a recognised English language proficiency test (undertaken in the last two years) to the minimum standard required
Work experience - full time employment experience (or equivalent) as a childcare ECT/Group Leader delivering education and care to the 0-6 year old age group
