Are you a motivated and focused Early Childhood Educator looking for an exciting new challenge? Anglicare (NSW South, West & ACT), is a not-for-profit organisation seeking applications for the position of Room Leader at our Franklin Early Learning service, located on the campus of Franklin School.
Anglicare Early Years are leading providers of high-quality educational programs for young children. We deliver engaging education, holistic care and supportive service to children and families, particularly those most in need within our community. The Opportunity
As a Room Leader at Franklin Early Learning, you will mentor and support other Educators, role modelling high quality practice. You will lead the development of innovative and responsive educational programs informed by the principles, practices, and outcomes of the Early Years Learning Framework, and the National Quality Standards. You will establish warm, nurturing relationships with each child and friendly, supportive relationships with their families while attending to children's learning and well-being throughout the day.
What's needed to succeed?
ACECQA approved Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care.
Experience working in an Early Childhood Education and Care setting, preferably in a leadership role.
A solid understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework, National Quality Framework, and awareness of relevant law and regulations.
Ability to develop appropriate and sustained relationships with children.
Strong organisational and planning skills, and the ability to work independently.
Ability to design, plan and implement high quality educational programs for young children.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, families, and team members,
High level of energy, enthusiasm, and creativity, with a passion for supporting children's learning and development
