Make a Real Difference
We are seeking a motivated and capable Assistant Director (or an experienced Lead Educator ready for their next step) to assist our Throsby team and take on the role of Educational Leader. You will play a key role in delivering a quality Before and After School Care program at our service in Throsby, working with a team of dedicated educators and consistent casual staff throughout the week.
As the Educational Leader, you will guide and mentor educators, ensuring the implementation of a high-quality educational program that meets the developmental needs of children. You will support the Centre Director in the day-to-day management of the program and foster an environment where educators, families, and children feel welcomed and have a strong sense of belonging.
Position Details
Permanent full-time position (76 hours per fortnight), working block shifts of either 7:00 am – 3:00 pm or 10:00 am – 6:00 pm
Split shifts required only to fill ratios or cover absences within the leadership team
Above award wage, including:
Children’s Services Award – Children’s Services Employee Level 5 with a salary range of $35.13 – $36.28 per hour plus 11.5% superannuation, based on experience and qualifications
Educational Leader allowance $2.23 per hour
Split shift allowance of $19.00 per day (if applicable)
