HACKHAM VETERINARY CENTRE

Part time experienced veterinary nurse required.

· We are looking for a positive and enthusiastic part time Certificate IV veterinary nurse with a minimum of 2 years clinical experience to join our team located in the southern suburbs of Adelaide.

· The role is for 25-30 hours per week and will include weekday surgical and reception duties plus some nurse consultations with alternate Saturdays (8-12pm) morning shifts. We close at 6 pm during the week and there is no after-hours work.

· We are looking for a resilient, compassionate, friendly and enthusiastic team player.

· You will have a can do attitude, exceptional communication and animal handling skills while always advocating for your patient.

· We have a busy surgery load so you will require confidence in monitoring gaseous anaesthetics and have experience with surgical nursing and a strong focus on patient care.

· You will have experience in placing IV catheters, doing blood draws and basic laboratory tests.

· You will have meticulous attention to detail and great time management while always providing excellent customer service.

· The role requires the ability to work autonomously and be able to see the big picture while focusing on the small details too.

· Remuneration will be above award rates.
