About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Lending team at Triangle Financial as a Lending Credit Analyst. In this full-time position based in our Sydney office, you will play a critical role in evaluating financial data, identifying risk, and providing recommendations, ensuring service is reliable and responsible, and process is easy and straightforward, to customers.

What you'll be doing

Reviewing and analysing mortgage applications and supporting documentation to assess applicants' creditworthiness and repayment capacity

Conducting thorough credit checks and risk assessments to identify any potential issues or concerns

Preparing detailed credit analysis reports and recommendations for the Lending team

Liaising with customers, brokers and other stakeholders to gather information and clarify any application details

Maintaining accurate records and documentation throughout the lending process

Identifying opportunities to improve lending processes and procedures

Adhering to all relevant lending regulations, policies and guidelines

What we're looking for

A strong motivation to learn and build a long-term career in Finance

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the attention to details

Excellent written and verbal communication skills to liaise effectively with customers, brokers and stakeholders

Highly organised with the ability to manage a diverse workload and competing priorities

Commitment to providing exceptional customer service

No requirement for industry experience. But preferably with previous experience in a credit analysis or lending role within the mortgage or banking industry, or preferably for graduate with accounting or finance background
