We’re on the lookout for a Client Services Manager / Credit Analyst to join our established and supportive mortgage broking team. You’ll work closely with an experienced broker and loan processing staff in a flexible and rewarding work-from-home role – with the bonus of monthly face-to-face team collaboration days.
This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in mortgage lending or loan assessment who loves working with clients but without the pressure of sales targets. We value integrity, team collaboration, and genuine care for our clients’ financial wellbeing.
🔑 Key Responsibilities:
Assess loan applications in line with lender policy and responsible lending obligations.
Review each client’s financial situation to recommend the most appropriate solution that aligns with the customer’s goals, ensuring a proactive approach that helps us secure the business.
Communicate with clients, lenders, and the internal team on the journey form enquiry to settlement and beyond.
Build long-term client relationships with regular lending reviews and client contact.
🙌 What We’re Looking For:
Knowledge of mortgage lending, credit principles, and supporting documentation.
The ability to apply critical thinking to a customer scenario and present options to assist them meet their future financial goals.
The ability to support and guide customers throughout their lending journey by providing guidance with administrative tasks such as document collection.
Attentive, customer focused approach with a friendly, positive attitude and a desire to find solutions to meet the customer needs.
Time management skills – you’ll be comfortable managing priorities and meeting deadlines.
A great communicator – both written and verbal.
Able to work independently while being a collaborative team player.
✅ Skills & Experience:
Experience in banking or mortgage broking is preferred.
Understanding of major lender policies or an aptitude for learning and an inquiring mind.
Experience using Connective Mercury and Quickly is a bonus.
National Police Check (current or willing to obtain).
