I'm currently recruiting on behalf of a leading, highly profitable international non-bank lender known for their innovative retail lending solutions and strong customer focus.

As they continue to grow, they're investing further in credit oversight and are now looking for an experienced Credit Quality Assurance Manager to join their high-performing team.

In this role, you'll drive credit quality and elevate decision-making by leading underwriting reviews, identifying trends, and championing continuous improvement across the credit function.

About the Role

As the Credit Quality Assurance Manager, you will be responsible for reviewing the credit underwriting decisions made by our credit team to ensure consistency, compliance, and high-quality decision-making. This is a critical role that helps us maintain rigorous credit standards while driving continuous improvement in how we assess and manage risk.

What You'll Be Doing

• Conduct in-depth hindsight reviews of credit applications and underwriting decisions
• Assess compliance with internal credit policy, procedures, and regulatory expectations
• Provide clear, constructive feedback to the credit team to support performance improvement
• Identify trends and systemic issues, and lead initiatives to address them
• Collaborate with stakeholders across credit risk, underwriting, and compliance
• Prepare regular updates and reports for senior management on QA findings and improvements
• Play a key role in enhancing underwriting frameworks, processes, and training materials

What We're Looking For

• 4+ years of experience in credit underwriting, risk, or credit QA roles in retail lending
• Strong understanding of retail lending products, credit policies, and regulatory frameworks
• Proven ability to identify underwriting issues and deliver actionable insights
• Confident communicator who can influence stakeholders and drive change
• Analytical thinker with a sharp eye for detail
• Proactive, collaborative, and solutions-oriented approach
• Experience in high-growth, fast-paced environments is a plus
