Key Responsibilities

• Warmly welcoming patients and managing front desk operations
• Scheduling and confirming appointments, theatre bookings and consultations
• Handling phone and email enquiries with professionalism and empathy
• Processing Medicare and private health claims, billing, and payments
• Managing patient records and ensuring confidentiality at all times
• Supporting the surgeon and practice manager with administrative duties

About You
We’re looking for someone with:

• Previous experience in a medical receptionist or admin role (surgical practice highly regarded)
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities
• Confidence with medical software
• A warm, professional demeanour and a genuine care for patient wellbeing
