Our major State Government client is looking for a Level 1 Helpdesk Support Officer. This opportunity sits within a forward-thinking IT division that leads strategic technology initiatives and supports the delivery of high-quality services across a large, diverse organisation.
✅ What We’re Looking For
- IT knowledge with experience in:
Microsoft platforms
Active Directory
Basic troubleshooting
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Organised, proactive and a team player
đź”§ Your Role
As the first point of contact for technical support, you’ll:
- Log and respond to basic technical issues, questions and requests.
- Provide first-level troubleshooting and escalate unresolved cases as needed.
- Help users understand solutions and reduce recurring issues through education.
- Maintain accurate support records and contribute to a shared knowledge base.
- Communicate with clients and the team to provide updates and feedback.
- Collaborate on internal Service Centre projects and support continuous improvement.
