Roy Morgan is one of Australia's most recognised and respected market and social research companies. We're currently seeking reliable and friendly support staff to join our T1800 Support Centre, assisting both field interviewers and survey respondents by phone.
You will be trained to:
- Provide Level 1 technical support to field staff (e.g., troubleshooting login issues, syncing devices, navigating internal systems)
- Log and escalate software or connectivity problems
- Conduct outbound and inbound telephone interviews as required
Though you will work remotely, you'll be part of a supportive, high-performing team. Full training is provided in July 2025.
Who we're looking for:
You'll be a calm and confident communicator with previous call centre or help desk experience, ideally providing Level 1 tech support such as:
- Assisting users with system access issues
- Walking interviewers through device setup and software use
- Guiding staff through routine troubleshooting steps (e.g., checking Wi-Fi connectivity, app refresh, restarting devices)
- Logging tickets for more complex issues using helpdesk software
You will need to have:
- A friendly and professional outlook
- Excellent spoken and written communication skills
- Confident phone manner
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures
- Competent Microsoft Office and general tech skills
- Ability to multi-task and stay calm under pressure
- Minimum IELTS English level of 8.5
- Flexibility to work day, evening and weekend shifts
- Minimum availability of 20 hours per week (including one weekend shift)
- Call centre, help desk or market research interviewing experience (essential for this role)
Successful candidates will be required to undertake a National Police Check.
Roy Morgan operates one of the largest research and interviewing teams in Australia. Once trained, there may be opportunities to work across a range of nationally significant social research projects.
